Anyone familiar with the history British imperialism and the independence struggles of other countries which won their freedom from Britain will be well acquainted with London’s Trojan horses, its gifts, and its bribes. Now this is not me saying Murray Foote is an enemy within. I don’t know – and that’s my problem here. I don’t know. For all I do know, Foote might be the Bobby Sands or the Mahatma Gandhi of Scottish independence, but, and until there is something to convince me otherwise, I simply do not trust him. We have no reason to trust him.
Trusting Liars
Murray says that he does not believe the Vow was a deciding factor in the No vote, but he is wrong. It offered people a third option when they had been bullied and harassed into thinking a Yes vote would hurt them and their loved ones. The false promise of the Vow – nothing but an empty and deceitful IOU – saved them from having to vote No against independence, against the prospect of a truly better Scotland, and offered them instead a provisional No in lieu of something better – something that was, from the day it was written, a callous and deliberate lie.
How Dare Sadiq Khan call us the Racists
With another independence referendum about to be called, the Labour Party has launched its Better Together campaign by having Sadiq Khan pontificate in the Daily Record that "nationalism is racism."
They said the SNP would Crumble with a No Vote
Career suicide was the order of the day as the leadership job became less desirable than that of a horse rectum inspector. Thinking of which, it was nice to see the passing of Johann Lamont and Jim Murphy.
